MOVING TOWARD MANHOOD
The great cry of our world is for leaders and mentors.
The world is crying out for Godly men, Godly husbands, and Godly mentors to lead a generation of children to become men and women of integrity.
MISSION STATEMENT:
1. Develop a personal commitment to God.
2. Train to be the spiritual head of their home.
3. Training to be the husband and father.
4. Support the pastoral staff of First Assembly.
5. Each man will develop an accountablity partner.
6. Minister to the community, state, and nation as needs arise.
A Godly husband speaks three messages to his wife:
1. I will love you as Christ loved the church.
2. I will provide for your needs.
3. I will be there when you need me.
A Godly father has three marks that set him apart from other men:
1. He walks a good path in front of his children to let them know it can be done.
2. He occasionally turns around and looks at his children to let them know "You're not alone."
3. He continues his walk toward God, trusting God to lead his children to follow, therefore saying: "I believe in you."
