Fall 2011 began year 4 for Chi Alpha Campus Ministry in Chickasha at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. The group meets every Thursday night at 9 PM in Station 82 located in the basment of the student center. The 5:22 Student Worship team leads Praise and Worship as Tim and Connie Black serve as A/G campus pastors along with various others to speak into the lives of the students as the Holy Spirit leads. This is an awesome ministry through which God is doing BIG things! Please continue to keep this vital ministry in your prayers as we pursue the will of God for this campus!
April 2011 NEWS!
During University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma's recent Minerva Awards Banquet, several students from First Assembly of God were presented prestegious awards! Also presented at the gathering in USAO's ballroom was the "Outstanding Student Organization" award to the Chi Alpha Campus Ministry group! Autumn Fosburg and Bled N'Guessan are both faithful attenders of Sunday School and worship services at First Assembly. Lexxa and Leslie are members of the Women's Soccer team at USAO and they work with the babies and toddlers each Sunday in our church nursery. Congratulations to all the award winners for their hard work and accompishments!
